Colorants are used to give desired color tones to food products. They can be obtained naturally or artificially and are used to increase the visual appeal of products. Especially in products such as beverages, confectionery, cakes and ice creams, colorants increase the attractiveness of the product by creating the first impression of the consumer. Colors are selected and used in accordance with the type of product, its purpose and target audience.
